Went there for breakfast. Everything was fresh and hot. Fresh fruit. Everything you like for breakfast was on the buffet. Service was kind and attentive. I recommend this place for good breakfast. The place is a little dated but otherwise clean and respectable.

I must say I think of myself as a bit of a foodie. I've eaten at Shoney's family restaurant twice on this trip. Not because I wanted to but because it was convenient. I came away very impressed the place was very clean the price was good and the food was excellent! So if you just want something good to eat at a good price, I would recommend this place.

I wanted to like this place I really did. I thought the people were above and beyond nice and helpful however, the food here is very very bad. I ate here twice now in two years and both times the food was horrible. Nothing was hot. I told the waitress the chicken nuggets on the bar was old cold and hard. She grinned and explained to me her son ft the same way. For some reason, that did not make me feel any better. I will never eat here again

Stopped at the Shoney's in Pigeon Forge just for coffee and pie. We were seated promptly even after I told the hostess that we only wanted coffee and strawberry pie. The service was very good. They prepared a fresh pot of decaf coffee and the pie was excellent. The waitress kept our cup full with jot coffee. While we did not eat the buffet we both thought the buffet looked great. I even got up and went to the buffet and looked at it because it looked so good. Perhaps next time we will have the complete meal rather than just pie.

We went there late after the Jubilee Convention. We were greeted with a smile and had a wonderfully friendly server. We ordered Slim Jim's, a banana split and strawberry pie. Great Food! Would go back again!

I knew...I knew I should have NEVER drove into their parking lot. Almost nothing bothers me. I can eat almost any food. But hear me out on this review. This is not food. I am not sure what this was. My daughter and I came in for a fast breakfast. I have not been to a "Shoneys" in about 15 years or so. I thought maybe they have improved over the years. NO...NO...NO...they haven't. The pancakes were not even cooked. I asked the waitress for some new pancakes and she was nice to bring some to my daughter. The eggs had no taste. The country ham was "MOLDED" and the grits were like soup...watered down and no taste. I thought the buffet was around $4.95 or so. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. It cost us $20 out the door plus a tip. Why would anyone come to this kind of place? Maybe people who don't know better, or don't care. I have been telling my daughter all morning how sorry I was. We went to a better place and had breakfast. $22.00 leason for me. I will NEVER...EVER...go into a "Shoneys" again. EVERRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Family had buffet. The food was not good quality. I tried the chicken and fish and ate none of it. The salad was ok. Service was fine and waitress nice. The bathrooms were dirty. I would not go back.

Good salad bar. I ordered the chicken fried steak. Mashed potatoes was really good, but the actual "steak" wasn't that great. The service was nice.

Amazing buffet! Clean and quiet place to eat! Buffet has Steak, Fish, BBQ ribs, veggies, salad, etc. very fresh and good! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend! Service was very friendly as well. All you can eat buffet including salad bar was $11.79 each adult. So 2 adults buffets with tea was $30.00 plus tip

We were up in Pigeon Forge again, and I wanted to do an updated review, since we ate breakfast here one morning. The breakfast bar is identical to our last visit, a good average breakfast bar, for the money. Their price is still $10 for the breakfast buffet, plus beverage and tip. Scrambled eggs is still the only egg choice, and they are kind of tasteless. I wish they would make the grits a bit thicker. They are watery and bland. All other food items were good and tasty. The food is hot, and the bar is kept clean. Sausage, bacon, and pancakes were great. The selection of fresh fruits was good. Service was excellent. I would strongly suggest going to Golden Corral for breakfast instead, if they are open for breakfast. Normally, Golden Corral serves breakfast during the busier tourist seasons only. For the same price of $10, Golden Coral has a much large breakfast bar, which includes huge made to order omelets.

There were some good things on the buffet like catfish, salad, and cabbage soup. Kids like macaroni and chicken fingers. Vegetables were clearly out of a can. It was okay. Quick and easy.
